   Web Design: The Next Steps

First off, let us thank you for choosing WebProAgent for your step into the world of real estate online. Before we can get started on your website, we need to get some information from you: How you would like your website to look, as well as what content you want your site to have.

Please read the following carefully so that we can make the design that you feel is best, as well as one that you will truly enjoy. The better the details you can convey to us, the better and faster we can create your site.

Take note of your decisions, and whenever you're ready, please send all your information over to jaezar@webproagent.com with the subject as "My Website Choices." Please include your full name as well.

   Step One: Your Design Options

Color

An important part of a design is the color of your website. If you'd like, you can pick from one of the several color schemes we've come up with below, or you can also name off several colors to create your own website scheme. We also need to know if you prefer your website to have light text on a dark background (such as WebProAgent has), or dark text on a light background.

Cerulean

Champagne

Glow

Jungle

Mint

Mojave

Ocean

Rose

Royal

Sand

Slate

You may give us either the color names, or the color hex numbers.
For best results, please give us at least three colors.

Font

Font works with your color scheme to set the tone of your website. There are two types of fonts to consider.
  • Serif
Serif fonts have decorative tips to their letters. They set a more formal tone, but can be harder to read, especially at smaller sizes. This font is Georgia.

  • Sans-Serif
Sans-serif fonts have no decorative tips and are generally more plain looking. Their tone is more casual, but they are generally considered easier to read. This font is Verdana.
We would like to know which style of font you would prefer to have on your website. If you have a particular font that you like, let us know what it is, and we will see if it is web-compatible (meaning it is a common font found on all computers).

Other web-compatible fonts include Book Antiqua, Bookman Old Style, Calisto MT, Footlight MT, Garamond, Georgia, Times New Roman, Arial, Century Gothic, Helvetica, Lucinda Sans Unicode, Tahoma, Trebuchet MS (which is what this website uses), and Verdana.

Layout

Your website's layout is one of the most important aspects to it. It is how your website is visually arranged. There are generally two types of layouts on the web. Pictured below are simplified versions of layout designs.
