   Step Two: Your Content


A website just isn't a website without any sort of content. It will be up to you as to what content your website will provide.

Your content will be separated into sections which include Home, Buyers, Sellers, About, and Contact. In these sections (except for Home and About), will be links to your IDX services, such as the MLS search, homes by e-mail, the property organizer, etc.

It is advisable for you to have some written content for each section, and it is mandatory for the Home and About sections. If you have signed up for a WebPro Basic site, you can include up to 5 more optional pages with your own written content on them. WebPro Advanced members may include up to 10 additional pages. These pages can be used to give visitors more information about the area where you sell, to provide links to other websites, or any other written content you would like to provide.


The Home Page

Minimal writing is needed for the home page. All that is needed here is a quick introduction for your visitors to yourself and your website. Of course, you can write anything else you want besides an introduction.


The Buyers Page

This page will include links to your IDX services. While it is not mandatory that you write anything for this page, it might keep visitors coming back if you include some written information such as tips for buyers or other quick information for them. WebPro Advanced members can write more thorough information for buyers on a separate page and include it under the Buyers section of your website.


The Sellers Page

This page is similar to the Buyers page, only with information for sellers instead. The same goes for your content here as well. It isn't mandatory, but it may make your website more interesting if you provide some.


The About Page

This page is all about you. Write anything about yourself that you would like to share with the visitors of your site. It is also a good idea to try and sell yourself with this page by including information about why they should choose to do business with you. You can also include information that can help others identify with you.


The Contact Page

This page will display your contact information such as phone numbers and your mailing address. There will also be an e-mail form so that your visitors can send you e-mail without having to login to their own e-mail accounts.

You can choose which IDX services to feature as well as which ones not to feature. These services include...

IMPORTANT: We'd also like you to choose which MLS boards you want your site to utilize. Please click here to see a list of available MLS boards.

Additional Notes
  • You can send us a photo of yourself so that we can use it in the site design (it will be displayed in the header). We can also use it on the About page only (instead of the overall design) - just specify where you would like to use it.
  • If you have photos that you would like included in the site design, please send them over as well.
  • For WebPro Advanced members, an optional Flash insert is included with your plan. This insert can be displayed on the splash/greeting page, or as the header on your main site. If you want to utilize this feature, please let us know if you want the insert to be a splash or a header.





Once you have all your design options and content ready, please e-mail it to jaezar@webproagent.com with the subject as "My Website Choices." Please include your full name as well. If you would like to create your written content in Microsoft Word, .doc, .docx, and .txt attachments are acceptable. Please send it in this format.
